Signature Finish Carpentry is based in Fitchburg and installs trim, stairs, doors, built-ins and interior woodwork in 24 towns across north central Massachusetts, plus select projects in southern New Hampshire.
Where we work
We keep the service area tight on purpose. A finish carpenter who is an hour away is a finish carpenter who shows up late and leaves early. Working close to Fitchburg means we are on site for full days, we can come back the same week for a punch list, and builders can count on the schedule.
Closest to our Fitchburg base
Fitchburg, Leominster, Lunenburg, Westminster, Ashburnham, Gardner, Winchendon, Templeton and Hubbardston. This is home ground, with a mix of older houses in the city and town centers, where trim often has to be matched to what is already there, and newer custom homes on the outskirts.
Down Route 140 and I-190
Princeton, Sterling, Holden, Rutland, West Boylston, Boylston, Worcester and Shrewsbury. Much of our custom home and remodel work for builders lands here: whole house finish packages, stairs, built-ins and kitchen cabinet installation.
East of Fitchburg
Lancaster, Clinton, Harvard and Bolton in Worcester County, plus Ayer, Groton and Townsend just over the line in Middlesex County. Older colonials and farmhouses, additions and full renovations where new trim has to sit next to the original.

We take on select projects in southern New Hampshire, usually larger finish packages or work for builders we already know. Call (978) 596-5623 with the town and the scope and we will tell you straight away whether it fits the schedule.

Shiplap, tongue and groove, slat and reeded walls, plank and beamed ceilings, accent walls with lighting.
