The company worked for years as RS Finish Carpentry, which is why older reviews mention RS Carpentry. Same owner, Ricardo De Melo, same crew and the same standard, now under the Signature Finish Carpentry name.

Impressed with the overall experience. They run a tight, organized process and take real pride in their work. The finish quality is excellent, and nothing felt rushed. It’s hard to find teams that deliver at this level consistently. I’d absolutely recommend them for high-end projects.
From the time I spoke to Lindsay, we were taken on very short notice, no questions asked, Ricardo came over and was extremely polite and answered any questions I had and did an absolute incredible job on our molding…
Very professional operation. Clear communication, punctual, and extremely detail-oriented. The quality of the work is top-tier and exactly what you expect at a high level. Everything was executed cleanly and with precision. I’d work with them again without hesitation.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I HAD to after this!!! We had custom kitchen cabinets done, and I’m honestly blown away!!!
Signature Finish were super professional, responsive and on top of things. We were looking to build a full wall bookcase and a couple smaller projects and they were helpful and very informative, quick to revise quotes…
Solid experience from start to finish. They were easy to work with, showed up on time, and kept things straightforward. The quality of the work is what stands out. Everything looks clean, well-built, and done right. I’d definitely bring them back for future projects.
I’m honestly really happy with how everything turned out!! I had a clear vision going into it, and they were able to bring it to life in a way that feels clean, elevated, and well thought out. The attention to detail really shows…
Professional carpentry work. Very pleased with the results. Quality work and done on time.

My experience with Ricardo from RS carpentry was truly remarkable. I sent him pictures and measurements requesting a quote for my project which I received the next day. A few days later he came to my home to assess the project. Within a week my project was done - in one day! He did a fantastic job installing crown around my hallway and basement stairwell. The molding he chose beautifully coordinates with the adjacent living room. He took time to wrap the corners for a finished look. He also worked his magic to incorporate an existing, intricate piece of molding which came out gorgeous and seamless. I highly recommend Ricardo and will have him back when I remodel my kitchen. He’s responsive, prompt, efficient, and conscientious… a great experience start to finish.
Spoke with Ricardo on Thumbtack and he gave me a quote. Came on a Saturday and finished the whole job in one day with his brother. He scribed skirtboard and installed the remaining trim in the basement. He was polite, answered our questions and stayed within the estimate he had given. Scribing the stairs is fine carpentry work and takes a talented carpenter. Ricardo was able to make this look great and handle some difficult transition. Was very happy and would recommend.
Ricardo was responsive from the minute I posted the need for help to showing up exactly on time! I am expecting and we are trying to finish renovating the nursery. I was at my wits end trying to get crown molding up. I posted the job and RS Carpentry responded in minutes. Not only that they came in as the lowest quote with the fastest start date!! He showed up exactly on time- he was so efficient and clearly detailed oriented. The trim looks fantastic!! We are so happy we are looking for more help from Ricardo. If you want 10/10 work done- RS Carpentry is who to call!
Ricardo and Gabriel did a beautiful job installing custom crown molding in my living room. They are excellent finish carpenters.
RS Carpentry responded to my request for a carpenter right away. All my questions and concerns were answered with photos, dimensions, drawings, and his professional advice. He is a true professional.
RS Carpentry was extremely quick to respond and kind, too. Eager to assist and also made a money-saving suggestion for my project before he even came on site - adding value from the start. Very professional and flexible with meeting and communication overall has been great.
Super professional, fast, and clean like he wasn’t even there. Will hire again!!!
Ricardo came out the next day to provide a quote was great to deal with. His work looks amazing and I look forward to hiring him in the future.
